Tottenham working on deals to sign Savinho and Eberechi Eze

Tottenham are making major moves in the transfer market as they push to secure two high-profile attacking signings before the window closes.

Spurs have lost attacking midfielder James Maddison to a long term injury while fan favourite Son Heung-min has left this summer to move to the Major League Soccer.

The Europa League winners will be without two major creative forces of the team and that is the reason they are working on a deal to address those issues.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are continuing active negotiations for Savinho and Eberechi Eze, with discussions ongoing with both Manchester City and Crystal Palace.

Manager Thomas Frank wants to add fresh creativity and goal threat to his forward line, and both targets are viewed as players who can elevate the squad’s attacking options immediately.

Savinho, currently on Manchester City’s books and impressing during his time with Girona in La Liga, has emerged as a target for the North London club.

The Brazilian winger is a versatile player with his best position being the right-wing position.

Although his goal output is not the most impressive, he is still a player who gets involved in attacking third and creates opportunities for his teammates.

Eze, meanwhile, has been a consistent performer for Crystal Palace over the past two seasons.

He has helped Palace win the FA Cup and the Community Shield recently and interest in his services is high this summer, with Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Arsenal also exploring the opportunity to sign the 27-year-old.

Palace are known to drive a hard bargain for their key players, and with Eze’s release clause having recently expired, any deal will depend on Palace’s valuation being met.

Romano reports that both deals remain alive, with Spurs willing to invest heavily to secure their manager’s top targets.

The aim is to complete a double attacking reinforcement that would not only improve depth but also make a statement and show their intent on building the team following their Europa League success.
