Arsenal star Thomas Partey could become a free agent next month amid the uncertainty surrounding his future at the North London club.
Recent reports from Turkey claim the Ghana international midfielder has been offered to Galatasaray and Fenerbahce as he is set to leave the Gunners, and he has taken to social media platform Instagram to share pictures of himself in training.
Partey wore a top of Flamengo and an Arsenal short, with the former likely a gift from former teammate Jorginho, who joined the Brazilian top-flight club some days ago.
It remains to be seen where the 32-year-old will be plying his trade next season after making 52 appearances last term, but it appears the North Londoners are already preparing for life without him and have identified Sevilla midfielder Lucien Agoume as a potential replacement.
They are also expected to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, and manager Mikel Arteta also has Mikel Merino and Myles Lewis-Skelly as options in the defensive midfield role and could be ready to let Partey leave.
The midfielder will not be short of suitors in Europe following an outstanding individual campaign last season, while Saudi Pro League clubs will also be looking to lure him to the Middle East.
Losing such a key player for free will be a huge blow, but it appears Arsenal may not be ready to meet his demands, and joining another club will be more financially rewarding as he will likely be getting wages the Gunners do not want to match and a signing-on fee.
Partey joined them from Atletico Madrid in October 2020 after his £45 million release clause was activated, and he has since made 167 appearances across all competitions, winning the 2023 FA Community Shield.
It is believed he wants to stay at Arsenal beyond this summer, but he wants an improved two-year agreement or a one-year deal plus an option to extend it by a further 12 months, and the club have yet to agree to his terms.
