Manchester City’s third kit is a rain-inspired design, according to the latest leaks.
The usually reliable Footy Headlines has shared fresh images of what they believe the new shirt will look like. It is expected to be grey with a raindrop pattern, alongside a lime green collar and trimming.
It is fair to say that the reaction to the jersey among supporters on X has not been particularly positive:
This is so so bad

Why have Puma chosen this design?
Manchester is associated with cloudy and wet weather so the German kit supplier is clearly playing into this aesthetic.
While the design may look better in person, it is hard to see it being a popular choice in terms of replica shirt sales.
When will Man City’s 3rd kit go on sale?
This time last year, the Cityzens had already released their third/alternative shirt. It came out in late July, so it remains to be seen when this jersey will be made available for purchase.
There have been instances where other clubs have waited until the season kicks off to release the 3rd kit, but with more leaked images emerging, it does seem like it won’t be long before it’s in shops and in the club’s official store.
In other news, a Premier League club has reportedly made an enquiry about signing a Man City winger
