Man City secured a deserved win in the Manchester derby on Sunday evening, as they put three goals past Man United.

Pep Guardiola’s side could have arguably scored more if Tijjani Reijnders and Erling Haaland had made the most of their chances, but the scoreline was a fair reflection of the game.

Read below as we share our Man City player ratings for the victory at the Etihad Stadium:

Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Gianluigi Donnarumma – 7/10 – made one outstanding save on his debut to prevent Bryan Mbeumo from scoring with a volley.

RB – Abdukodir Khusanov – 5/10 – played ok, despite playing out of position, but he did make one or two rash challenges.

CB – Ruben Dias – 7/10 – handled Benjamin Sesko without any real issues, barring one or two half-chances.

CB – Josko Gvardiol – 7/10 – the Croatian international wasn’t really tested on his return from injury.

LB – Nico O’Reilly – 7/10 – his nutmeg in the build-up helped City score their second goal. Had a tough time with Mbeumo but he restricted the forward to relatively few opportunities.
