Manchester City have the chance to end a disappointing season with glory at the revamped Club World Cup this summer.
The Citizens failed to win a major trophy this year, leaving this competition as their last chance to do so.
Pep Guardiola‘s men are one of two Premier League representatives in the new-look Club World Cup.
City won this tournament in 2023 under the original format, and they are starting as one of the clear favourites.
It’s huge for the club as well, with a $1billion prize purse up for grabs.
Man City at Club World Cup: Fixture dates
City are in Group G for the Club World Cup and are alongside Juventus, Al Ain and Wydad AC.

Man City at Club World Cup: What has been said?
Guardiola spoke about his future as Man City boss after a poor season heading into the Club World Cup.
He told DAZN: “I’ve always been able to turn things around when they’re not going well. I haven’t managed to do that this year.
“The situation has gotten the better of me.
“With the year we’ve had, if this were Spain, I wouldn’t be coaching in October, November or December.
“If this were Barça or Madrid, they would have sacked me. But here it wasn’t even a question.
“You have to have a little more patience. Look at Carlo Ancelotti. He won the Champions League and La Liga. Now he’s off to coach in Brazil.”
