AC Milan are reportedly considering Liverpool centre-back Joe Gomez as an option before the summer transfer window closes.
The Reds have until Monday evening to complete any incoming and outgoing business, as they look to get deals for Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi over the line.
Some players could still leave, too, with Kostas Tsimikas close to joining Roma on loan and RB Leipzig interested in signing Harvey Elliott on a permanent deal.

Sky Italy report that Gomez has emerged as an option for Milan, with the Liverpool centre-back an alternative to Man City‘s Manuel Akanji.
The Serie A giants see the Swiss as their No. 1 option, looking to sign him for £13 million, but Gomez and Villarreal defender Juan Foyth are also in the mix.
Back in June, the 28-year-old hinted that he saw his future at Liverpool, taking to Instagram to post his thoughts:
“Ten years ago as a kid moving from south east London to Liverpool, I couldn’t even imagine looking this far into the future.
“Looking back now I’m full of gratitude & take so much pride in being a part of this club and city.“No denying the challenges along the way, but embracing them to grow as both a player and a person is something I’ve always tried to do & I’m grateful for all the support in trying to do that.
“It’s been a blessing to be a part of the different dressing rooms and getting to create such special memories over the years with so many great players & staff.
“I felt it was important to share my thanks to you all for the support throughout the years, it’s always meant the world and I will never take it for granted.
“A decade in red… and still hungry to keep going. [heart emoji] @liverpoolfc.”
It would now be a surprise if Gomez departed Liverpool in the next few days, especially considering he seems happy and the Reds aren’t brimming with depth at centre-back.
Granted, signing Guehi would give Arne Slot more options at the heart of the defence, with Giovanni Leoni also arriving from Parma, but Gomez is still an asset.
Selling him so late in the window would feel like a needless risk, especially with his versatility allowing him to potentially step in for the injured Jeremie Frimpong at right-back.
