United, meanwhile, are sweating over the fitness of Matthijs de Ligt. Head coach Ruben Amorim says the Dutchman picked up an issue during the 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest earlier this week.
Kobbie Mainoo is also touch-and-go. The midfielder has returned to training, but he has not played for the best part of two months. The likes of Luke Shaw (fitness), Ayden Heaven (ankle), Jonny Evans (back), Amad (ankle) and Lisandro Martinez (ACL) have all been ruled out of contention.
