Virat Kohli took a sly dig at Babar Azam in the latest ‘RCB inside show’. The India batting superstar is currently plying his trade for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the ongoing IPL 2025.
In the latest episode of the RCB insider show, Mr. Nags tried to decode ‘Virat Kohli’s meditative state of mind’ and it led to a hilarious moment. The former RCB and India captain hilariously dropped a now-viral line – ‘Ghante ka peace’ – in a humorous exchange with Mr. Nags.
Fans think Virat took a dig at Babar
For the uninitiated, the phrase ‘Ghante ka king’ is quite popular among cricket fans in the subcontinent. The phrase was coined by two popular Pakistani YouTubers to mock Babar Azam‘s poor performance on the cricket field.
Many believe that Virat Kohli took a dig at Babar with his latest one-liner in the RCB insider show. The video shows Kohli appearing to meditate when Mr. Nags hugs him. Kohli was not impressed by the hug and reacted in a dramatic fashion. He pushed away Mr. Nags while saying, “Chhii, go sit over there.”
Mr. Nags was quick to remind Kohli about how he had once said to extend love to loved ones. In reply, the batting star said: “Extend love, but only after having a bath. You come like that, my whole peace is spoiled.”
Kohli then stood up and started walking way before Mr. Nags said: “Maintain peace!” This is when Kohli came up with the hilarious one-liner, saying: “Ghante ka peace.”

Virat Kohli is in fine form:
Virat Kohli is having a fine campaign with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2025. The right-handed batsman is currently the highest run-scorer for RCB in the tournament. Overall, he is in the fifth spot. In six games so far, Kohli has scored 248 runs at an average of 62 and a strike-rate of more than 140. He has also hit three fifties.
With form on his side, Virat Kohli will be eyeing another Orange Cap. He was the highest run-scorer last year and is one of the favourites to win the Orange Cap this year as well.
Talking about RCB, they have also started their campaign on a good note. The Bengaluru-based outfit has won 4 of its 6 games so far and is currently at the third spot in the points table.
