Despite the Punjab Kings (PBKS) finishing as runners-up after their loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the final on June 3, Shresta expressed immense pride in Shreyas’ achievements.
Shresta described the PBKS skipper as a wonderful person and shared her admiration for his extraordinary performance and dedication to the game throughout the season. She congratulated him on his efforts and called him a natural leader and a true inspiration.
“You are truly an extraordinary person with incredible talent! No matter how much we say about you, it will never be enough. You’ve proven yourself time and again, and I’m genuinely proud of everything you’ve achieved — it’s a huge accomplishment. I respect you not just for your phenomenal performance in this year’s IPL, but even more for the relentless hard work and dedication that went into making it happen. You are my true champion, a natural leader, and an inspiration. Win or lose — you’ll always be a winner in my eyes,” Shresta wrote on her official Instagram handle.

Shresta Iyer reflected on PBKS’s incredible journey this season. PBKS reached the IPL final after 11 years. She acknowledged the efforts of the entire franchise and stated that every member proved their worth and that everyone was a true winner.
