Arsenal have had a productive summer transfer window with six signings.
The Gunners have bolstered multiple positions and could now recoup some funds from outgoings.
Tuttomercatoweb report that AC Milan have approached the Gunners in the ‘last few hours’ regarding the availability of defender Jakub Kiwior.
The Rossoneri sought a possible loan deal for the Poland international, but Arsenal have made it clear that they will only entertain permanent bids.
Arsenal’s valuation of €25-30 million has been deemed as ‘very expensive’ for Milan.
Crystal Palace have also contacted the Gunners, but are not weighing up a bid.
Kiwior wants regular first-team football, having played second fiddle to William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in the heart of the Arsenal defence.
Manager Mikel Arteta still considers him an important player, and Arsenal appear unlikely to provide a discount on their price tag for the 25-year-old.
Arsenal have no reason to entertain loan bids for Kiwior
Kiwior was defensively vulnerable at times during his first 18 months with the Gunners, but he has improved significantly over the past campaign at the London giants.
The Pole stepped up in Gabriel’s injury absence during the backend of last season. There were several games where he was the standout centre-back ahead of Saliba.
Arsenal have added more quality with Cristhian Mosquera to the ranks. The Spaniard was preferred ahead of Kiwior off the bench during the recent friendly against Athletic Club.
The club obviously don’t want Kiwior to sustain an untimely injury amid the speculation, and it remains to be seen whether their valuation for the former Spezia man is met.
Milan are definitely out of the race for Kiwior, but Palace could yet return for his services if Marc Guehi makes the switch to Premier League rivals Liverpool in the next few days.
