Manchester City defender Ruben Dias was pictured back in training prior to the 4-1 win over West Ham at the weekend.
Manager Pep Guardiola played down the chances of the Portuguese international making his comeback imminently but he did confirm the centre-back is “getting better”.
Dias picked up a muscular injury during the defeat to Manchester United last month and he was initially ruled out for 3 to 4 weeks.
Based on that timeline, he is unlikely to be available for City’s next fixture in the FA Cup against Salford but he could return soon thereafter.
Expected Return Date – Tuesday 14th January v Brentford
