After 3 Games Played, Supercomputer Predicts Where Every Club Will Finish In The 2025/26 Premier League Table

We are only three fixtures into the new season but the boffins at Opta are still able to predict the final Premier League table based on the results so far.

The statisticians run thousands of simulations to come up with their findings, and fans will be intrigued to discover where their club could potentially finish.

Read below as we go through the predicted final positions of all 20 Premier League teams.

The 3 relegated teams

20th: Sunderland
19th: Burnley
18th: Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves’ poor start to the campaign has seen them slip into the bottom three in the predicted table.

At the moment, Opta has given Vitor Pereira’s side a 47.31% chance of being relegated, which is good news for one of the three promoted clubs.

Despite winning 2 of their first 3 league games, Sunderland are still expected to finish 20th, with Burnley taking the final position in the bottom three.

Just above the dropzone

17th: Leeds United
16th: West Ham United
15th: Fulham
14th: Manchester United

Currently, Leeds are the only newly-promoted team set to beat the drop. Opta had them as one of the three teams to go down at the start of the season so Daniel Farke’s side are moving in the right direction.

West Ham may have won their last game against Nottingham Forest, but after conceding eight in their first two matches, the Hammers are still expected to struggle, along with Fulham.

Despite spending heavily, Manchester United are predicted to finish just two places above last season’s 16th place.
